Are you ready to make HISTORY again, Manila millennials? The biggest entertainment convention is coming back for its second year in the Philippines and it’s going to be an action-packed four days from August 10 to 13 at the World Trade Center. HISTORY Con 2017, promoted by Viva Entertainment, is bigger, better and bolder than ever with more popular celebrities coming to visit, over 300 exhibitors’ displays to explore, three new world records to attempt, and a whole lot more.
HISTORY Con’s comeback in Manila is your chance to see your favorite HISTORY celebrities all at the same time. Watch out for biker chick and Ride ‘N Seek host Jamie Dempsey, Forged in Fire finalist and fellow Pinoy Ryu Lim (whom we’ve also previously interviewed for another publication), Counting Cars’ talented airbrush artist Horny Mike, and Photo Face-Off’s photography extraordinaire Justin Mott. Back by popular demand and exclusively in the Philippines, Rick Harrison of Pawnstars will join the stellar line up to reunite with fans in Manila, as well as all-time favorite Danielle Colby from The Pickers who will make her debut appearance.
The convention will also feature local personality Phoemela Baranda for Celebrity Car Wars.
We were part of the overwhelming 50,000 attendees at the four-day action-packed event in 2016. This year, the highly anticipated entertainment convention will expand to host over 300 exhibitors and experiences with displays of interesting knick-knacks, unique collectible items, and vehicle restorations!
HISTORY is also celebrating its 10th year anniversary in Asia and they’re ringing in the occasion by awarding 10 notable individuals who have made a significant impact in the country’s life and culture in the HISTORY Maker Awards. We’ll keep you on the loop on who they are or you can also join us.
Manila Millennial will be getting in touch with Ryu Lim and Barry “Butch” Wilmore, a NASA Astronaut, so don’t forget to check back next week for another fun Q&A. Feel free to send us your questions for them if you have any.
Tickets are now on sale at SM Ticket outlets and www.smtickets.com. Packages for schools and individuals are also available. You may also visit historyasia.com/historycon for more information.
You wouldn’t want to miss all the unbelievable discoveries you can make only at HISTORY Con 2017. See you at the World Trade Center from August 10 to 13 for the biggest entertainment convention in Manila!
