Pokémon fans, get ready to catch ‘em all because Jollibee is serving up more than just Chicken Joy this season. From February 1 to March 31, 2026, every Jollibee Kids Meal will be coming with a surprise Pokémon collectible inside a Poke Ball or a Great Ball, also hidden inside a blind box. It’s like a mini adventure. Each wrapper you open gets you one step closer to the big reveal! You won’t know which figure you’ll get until you open the ball and that kind of mystery is exactly what makes this drop so exciting.
But first, a little background on blind boxes: Blind boxes have become a global trend because they add an element of suspense to every purchase. Think of it as the modern palabunutan except it’s in mystery boxes!
ALL THE POKEMONS YOU CAN CATCH
This Jollibee x Pokémon collab called “Pokémon Evolution Surprise” features 10 collectible figures, pairing fan-favorite Pokémons with their evolved forms:
– Pichu (Poké Ball) and Pikachu (Great Ball)
– Psyduck (Poké Ball) and Golduck (Great Ball)
– Munchlax (Poké Ball) and Snorlax (Great Ball)
– Vulpix (Poké Ball) and Ninetales (Great Ball)
– Riolu (Poké Ball) and Lucario (Great Ball)
I personally thought they’d be releasing Eevolutions because of the collab name but I guess this one works, too! While 10 is already quite a lot for a solo adult about to eat 10 Jollibee Kids’ Meal, I’m still hoping that they’d considering doing a Wave 2 featuring the likes of Eevee, Mew, and a couple of new-gen starters.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Sure, the promo is designed for kids, but let’s be real. Millennials who grew up with Pokémon are just as excited.. or actually are even MORE excited. Collecting these figures taps into nostalgia, while the blind box format adds the same rush we used to feel opening trading card packs. I’m expecting the kids-at-heart will be the first ones in line this time.
Aside from the blind boxes, Jollibee will be giving away Pokémon Trading Card Game booster packs in limited quantities in the next few days. No specific amount of cards have been disclosed per branch but to be safe, assume that it’s first come, first served.
For collectors who want to avoid opening duplicates, expect to see a piece of paper inside the box. The last line should include the printed name of the Pokemon inside the sealed bag! They all differ in terms of weight, too. However, I don’t think they’ll be allowing you to weigh in all the blind boxes per branch so just try to guess which is which!
There’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to get all 10 when you order 10 meals in one go, by the way, just to manage expectations. Cheapest Kids’ Meal that you can get is a Solo Yumburger at Php 109.
