LISTEN: Here are some of the artists and songs in Nadine Lustre’s playlist

You can really tell a lot about a person by the music they listen to. What’s on one’s playlist is a glimpse of what makes them feel upbeat and even what makes them sad. Sony Personal Audio Ambassador Nadine Lustre understands the power that music has over us.

I can’t live without music, that’s just how important it is. I can’t imagine myself going about my day without listening to a song or even just one beat,” Nadine shares.

For those curious about what’s on Nadine’s playlist, she’s not quick to name any songs because of the variety of beats she listens and mood often dictates what she’ll pick.

A lot of genres now keep evolving and changing, but what I really like currently are future bass, deep house, and the newer EDM sound that’s going around,” she says.

Her current LSS is the song Warm by SG Lewis, but she does have go-to’s when she wants to get lost in the beat.

My all-time favorite artists would be Rihanna, Ariana Grande, and Coldplay. Although right now, I’m hooked on songs of Mura Masa, AlunaGeorge, and Porter Robinson,” adds Nadine.

More than the songs, her choice of headphones and speakers is also crucial part of her daily routine. “For everyday use, definitely my SRS-XB30 speaker and MDR-XB550AP headphones. Those are two things, along with my player, that I can’t leave the house without.”

When not listening solo to her choice of beats using her pair of MDR-XB550AP headphones, Nadine likes to share music with her friends using her SRS-XB30 wireless speaker.

I like it because the built-in lights kind of dance to the music being played. The speakers are perfect for when you want to party because it’s so powerful and portable. EXTRA BASS is able to hype us up and turn any room into a fun atmosphere to party,” adds Nadine.

With the party-livening ability of Sony’s EXTRA BASS line of speakers and headphones, what songs would Nadine recommend to maximize sound quality?

Definitely a Mura Masa song. I’d pick Firefly. Kaleidoscope Love by AlunaGeorge, Formation by Beyoncé, Be Alright by Ariana Grande, and Sad Machine by Porter Robinson,” she says.

Here are the videos so you can listen to her top picks:

1. Mura Masa – Firefly (feat. Nao)

2. AlunaGeorge – Kaleidoscope Love

3. Beyonce – Formation

4. Ariana Grande – Be Alright

5. Porter Robinson – Sad Machine

Nadine’s top EXTRA BASS picks for her everyday use are the MDR-XB550AP (Php 2,999) and the SRS-XB30 (Php 6,999), which are available in Sony Centers and authorized dealers nationwide.
