Remember that sports class you couldn’t afford back in college? Or that fencing camp you once thought was way out of reach? Well, with adult money and a little more freedom now that most of us are in our 30s, those side quests are finally achievable. And if you’re like me who has been itching to try something new every few weeks, Estudio de Espada Fencing Club is giving us the perfect chance to tick fencing off the bucket list.
The club just announced its Fencing Summer Camp 2026, happening in Quezon City from April 20 to May 30. The program runs in two batches and is open to participants aged 6 and up, so yes, you can sign up with your barkada, your partner, or even your kids. It’s family‑friendly, but also perfect for millennials who want to add a little flair (and discipline) to their side quests.
WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect structured training sessions, friendly competitions, and hands‑on guidance from experienced coaches. All equipment will be provided, so you don’t need to worry about buying gear before you even know how to hold a foil. Beyond the sport itself, fencing builds focus, confidence, and discipline — skills that hit differently now that we’re juggling careers, families, and hobbies!
