We’re getting an early look at something new before it officially lands in the Philippines! Realme is set to launch the newest addition to its Number Series: the realme 16 Series 5G. With refined aesthetics and camera upgrades, it seems that this could easily catch the eye of anyone who loves both aesthetics and taking snaps for the ‘gram.
A Nature‑Meets‑City Design

The new lineup introduces what realme calls the Urban Wild Design, created with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. These include textures and tones inspired by nature but polished for city living. The realme 16 Pro+ 5G comes in Master Gold, which give off sunlit wheat fields vibes, while the realme 16 Pro 5G comes in Pebble Grey and Orchid Purple (honestly my favorite in the lineup). The base realme 16 5G keeps things minimalist with White and Black “Air” aesthetic, swapping the Pro’s square camera module for a sleek horizontal strip.
But beyond aesthetics, the Pro+ uses a bio‑based silicone back panel made from plant-based straw, giving it a polished yet dirt and wear-resistant finish.
200MP Camera

The highlight here is the 200MP Portrait Master Camera on the Pro models. The realme 16 Pro+ 5G pairs that with a 50MP telephoto, 8MP ultra‑wide, and a 50MP front cam — making it versatile enough for close‑up portraits, wide group shots, and selfies. It also debuts the TÜV Rheinland‑certified LumaColor Image Camera, designed to balance lighting and render natural skin tones.
The realme 16 Pro 5G, on the other hand, keeps the 200MP main and ultra‑wide combo, while the standard realme 16 5G offers a 50MP Sony IMX852 rear and 50MP front camera, which looks pretty solid for everyday snaps.
