Mid-range smartphone with a premium feel? Look no further as this upcoming smartphone from realme boasts luxury to the level of Gucci! With a back cover made out of vegan leather, co-created with former Gucci Prints Designer Matteo Menoto, the soon-to-launch realme 11 Pro+ 5G not only is a leap forward for smartphone tech but also a fashion-forward craft.

While we are counting down the days to August 24^th, 4 PM when realme will officially unveil its latest masterpiece – price and all, here’s a closer look at the device and some of the reasons why we’re stoked to put this to the test:

INSIDE THE BOX

Aside from the sleek and elegant realme 11 Pro+ smartphone at the heart of it all, realme’s packaging comes with all of the essentials – a clear case to keep the leather clean, a 67W SUPERVOOC fast-charging adapter and Type-A to Type-C cable, a SIM ejector tool, a user manual, and a warranty card.

Like other realme smartphones, the realme 11 Pro+ 5G already comes with a screen protect film to keep the device scratch-free.

AESTHETICS AND POWER IN ONE

At the back of the device, you’ll find a Premium Vegan Leather Design inspired by the streets of Milan in Italy. The camera module, although way too big for my liking, is modeled after the rising sun in the middle of the city’s buildings, too! Even the gold-like seam exudes elegance as this 3D couture Level Seam represents the city roads.

I have the Sunrise Beige color, which has a really nice combination of cream and copper-like colors. The realme branding on the lower left portion of the smartphone is almost unnoticeable, given how eye-catching the huge camera module is. At the right side of the device, you’ll find the volume rocker button and lock/power button; while on the left side, you have a smooth and plain surface.

On top, you’ll find a top-firing speaker; while at the bottom, you’ll see the SIM slot, USB Type-C port, and speaker grilles. realme already said their goodbyes to the 3.5mm audio jack so users will have to stick to Bluetooth audio devices moving forward.

The device also boasts a vibrant and immersive display, perfect for streaming your favorite content and gaming on the go. And let’s not forget about realme’s commitment to battery life – fast charging ensures you spend less time tethered to a power outlet and more time enjoying your device.

A stunner not just on the outside but also on the inside, the realme 11 Pro+ 5G packs a decent processor and ample RAM; however, my favorite part about it would be its camera features. So far, I’m impressed with how well its 200MP OIS SuperZoom Camera with features that are not commonly found in mid-range devices. Its zoom capabilities are almost even at par with some flagship devices I’ve used before. Check out our samples below!
