Conti’s Bakeshop and Restaurant recently added this Mother’s Day special on their menu to satisfy our cravings for something sweet, salty, yet not doughy like typical cakes. The new BanaCrunch is a special recipe that combines classic ingredients like a butter cookie crust, rich cashew caramel, fresh bananas, and delicate cream to create something truly special. It’s also topped with honeycomb like a golden crown fit for the queen of the family—moms.
Of course, before sharing the good news, we had to try it as an early Mother’s Day treat. Here’s what my mom has to say: “This BanaCrunch Cake is something new that tickles the tastebuds with the salty and sweet combination of banana. crunchy honeycomb bits, and cream.”
Mom-approved! It looks like an ordinary cake from the outside but it’s more like a banoffee pie on the inside. However, unlike a banoffee pie, this is crunchier and sweeter. I would suggest that you get one for sharing as one to two slices would definitely be enough to satisfy your sweet cravings.
