Following a successful Love, Bonito on Wheels pop-up experience, our favorite omnichannel womenswear brand is back in the Philippines to make our favorite wardrobe staples accessible to mall-goers. Starting this weekend (May 5-7), Love, Bonito Summerhouse will be going around the Metro until the month ends. The best part? Clothes can be purchased right on the spot, no need to scan and check out the items online!
To give you an idea about what’s in store for you, here’s a summary of what I’ve personally experienced at Greenbelt 5 Fashion Square:
Since this is Love, Bonito Summerhouse’s first stop, we were able to meet Love, Bonito executives who flew in from Singapore just to say hi to the LBCommunity! Love, Bonito CEO Dione Song, President for Design and Development Tingzhi Liu, and representatives from Love, Bonito Philippines were present at the opening. Liu even shared some styling tips for ladies who want to dress fashionably yet comfortably.
“International expansion remains a high priority for us as we look to broaden our footprints to serve the everyday modern Asian women,” shared Love, Bonito CEO Dione Song. “The Philippines remains a key market for us and we are a step closer to developing our omnichannel strategy here, where our community can look forward to more offline store expansions and development of local experiences.”
Picture-perfect spots are available for visitors who want to take a mirror selfie, too! Uplifting phrases such as “come into your own” and “every body is unique” are even printed on the panels, symbolizing the brand’s vision of building a world where women are confident and empowered.
Select pieces from the online platform are available for fitting at the pop-up store, but expect the designs to change per location. Designs range from colorful summer dresses to corporate yet chic outfits. Each item contains a tag with a QR code which you can scan, should you want to purchase something at a later time. However, if you want to bring home the #OOTD of your choice right away, you can go to their cashier and pay using either cash, debit card, credit card, or via e-wallets like Maya, GCash, and GrabPay.
Each outfit costs around Php 1500 to Php 3,000, which may sound pricey to some, but as a Love, Bonito customer for about two years now, I can assure you that it’s meant to last! The styles are also wearable for all seasons in the Philippines.
Those who will be shopping two or more pieces at the pop-up store will also be entitled to a 15% discount for their next online order. After signing up via the QR code provided, Love, Bonito will be sending a voucher code via email, which you can use on your next online purchase. Of course, I took this opportunity to take two different colors of my favorite top!
Aside from the clothes, I would suggest that you join their LBCommunity+ in order to get a free ice cream from The Dairy Grind. I don’t have a photo of the ice cream but it’s perfect for summer!
Is it worth visiting? In my opinion and considering everything I’ve just mentioned above, it’s a huge YES. Love, Bonito is one of the very few brands that offer clothing that look like they’ve been tailored fit for Asians.
