LOOKBOOK: All of our favorite GUESS outfits in photos | Manila Millennial

Guess Philippines recently launched their Fall 2021 Collection and it honestly made me miss those days when we can attend events without worries of catching any kind of virus. The only time we can take a full #OOTD shot now is when we’re indoors, when we’re on the rooftop or veranda ALONE or when there’s a brand photo shoot that requires fully vaccinated people to get swab tests on the spot. I don’t often go out now, so here’s a throwback of all our GUESS favorites – both from the new Fall 2021 Collection and old ones that are still available online and in select stores nationwide.

Let’s start from the newest: The GUESS Fall 2021 Collection, which is a mix of everything that we need — from comfy athleisure to warm jackets for the cold ‘Ber months. These are new, so I don’t have #OOTD shots yet, but here are my favorites:

I got myself a Scoop Classic Tri Bs top in Dusty Teal color and a Rib Amalia Henley Polo from the new collection. Still waiting for the bags, Colorblocked Letitia Shorts and Top, and their athleisure line to be available online!

Another simple yet well-loved piece in my closet is the this top from the Guess Originals x Pleasures collection. Saw that it’s already on sale (Php 650 if I remember correctly) at the GUESS Glorietta 2 branch! Looks amazing with a white GUESS bucket hat.

Photos taken during the exclusive private shopping event in May.

As a “Moonchild” myself (people with Cancer as a zodiac sign are said to be ruled by the moon), this Moonchild hoodie designed in collaboration with Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI also tops the list of my sweater weather OOTD must-haves. Plus points because I listen to 88rising, too!!

When I’m not in the mood for hoodies, denim jackets come in second. I’ve been seeing a lot of activewear under GUESS Philippines, probably due to the increase in demand for such during the pandemic. Also suitable as it’s always hot here in the Philippines! Wearing a GUESS denim jacket and a black sports bra in the photo below.

Finally, for cloudy days when I just want to cover up my arms, GUESS has a lot of long-sleeved tops that look so good with high-heeled boots. My best picks both come with a “GUESS” print:

I also recently fell in love with GUESS bags! They now offer chic and classy-looking designs in all sizes that can fit different lifestyles. I even copped that white bag (the last piece in Glorietta) in the photo:

By the way, GUESS is currently driving towards its ambitious sustainability vision for 2030 which includes Science Based Targets for Greenhouse gas emissions, removing virgin synthetics from its products and packaging, and circular products and business models. You’ll see that some of the clothes have an Eco tag, which means that part of the material used for the clothing came from recycled and sustainable materials. If you’re also planning to update your wardrobe for Christmas, now is a good time to do so. GUESS Philippines partnered with with ICanServe Foundation, Inc. this month to help raise breast cancer awareness and assist those who are battling with it. Part of our purchases (online and offline) made from October 13-22, 2021 will be donated to this cause.

That’s all for now! I highly suggest that you place your orders online via their website or via app for now. Before going out, go get vaccinated first! When visiting stores, please ensure that you follow social distancing, wear a face mask and face shield, and wash your hands.
