Kenny Rogers Roasters’ Garlic Butter Roast: Winner winner chicken dinner… or not?

Everyone has a go-to place when they feel stressed and extra hungry – this combination is a bummer, so good food never fails to lighten up anyone’s mood! For me, that place would be Kenny Rogers Roasters. I used to frequent their branch in Glorietta before the pandemic, but it looks like we’ll have to rely on their service for now. This way, we can still try their latest additions to the menu and those that recently made a comeback – just like the Kenny Rogers Roasters Garlic Butter Roast!

I recently tried their Garlic Butter Group Meal and Solo B Sets with the family and no one had complaints about the food. The Garlic Butter Roast alone is bursting with flavors from garlic, butter, and other herbs and spices. It has a soft part-golden and part-extra roasted skin on the outside and extra soft and juicy meat on the inside. The skin part is hard to eat without a mouthful of rice, too. Not something for people who want to go on a diet since you’d want to have more rice and side dishes with it!

This flavorful rotisserie-roasted chicken made a comeback last May 3 and it will only be available for a limited time. It goes very well with all the side dishes that Kenny Rogers currently offers, too. If you’re not up for rice servings, it’s also good enough to go with healthy diets since the ingredients are good for the body. For one, garlic is incredibly nutritious as it can help boost your immune system. And butter? It just makes everything better! More than that, the chicken is roasted slowly in a rotisserie which makes the meat soft and juicy in every bite.

There are two meal selections to choose from if you want to try the Garlic Butter Roast:

Garlic Butter Group Meal (Php 1,060)

  • Whole Garlic Butter Chicken
  • 4 Side Dishes
  • 4 Rice
  • 4 Homemade Muffins
  • 1.5L drink

Solo Plate B (Php 305)

  • Quarter Garlic Butter Chicken
  • 2 Side Dishes
  • Rice
  • Homemade Muffin

Side Dish Tip: If you like veggies as a side dish, try their new Orzo Salad and Cauliflower Gratin. These sides are super different from what are usually offered in restaurants. The Orzo Salad has this very interesting rice-shaped orzo pasta (which look like a bottlegourd seeds) mixed with tomatoes and sweet tangy dressing, while the Cauliflower Gratin is made out of baked cauliflower with white sauce topped with melted cheese.

So yes, it’s a winner for me! Orders can be placed via kennyrogersdelivery.com.ph, via their hotline at 8-555-9000, or through your GrabFood and Food Panda apps.
