Taking selfies, or “self-portraits”, have long been equated to millennials. We usually take selfies when our makeup is on point, when our OOTD is slaying, or even when we just need a new display photo for our social media pages. But what good can a selfie bring? OPPO, the Selfie Expert, believes that the Philippines, being named as the “selfie capital of the world” is a title that calls for a celebration. Because of this, OPPO celebrated National Selfie Day last November 30 by treating its loyal fans to a magical day at Enchanted Kingdom. Hundreds of OPPO supporters (with their families) from all over Metro Manila gathered for the special occasion. Everyone, including your resident millennial, enjoyed the day with unlimited access to the park’s attractions and a variety of food choices around each park zone. It felt like we were kids again! With various picturesque and selfie-worthy spots around Enchanted Kingdom, we made sure to capture each moment using our OPPO F5 phone with a 20MP A.I. Front Camera and 16MP Rear Camera. “National Selfie Day is both a celebration and a reward to our fans for their undying loyalty and support to the brand. And what better way to celebrate this day than to share this with people that matter to them the most, their family and friends,” said Eason de Guzman, OPPO Philippines’ Public Relations Manager.

Parokya ni Edgar joined in the fun and serenaded the crowd during the culminating concert where it was also announced that a limited edition OPPO F5 6GB will be added to the F5 line-up. Ollie, OPPO’s mascot, and Enchanted Kingdom characters also dropped by to say hi to everyone.

Of course, National Selfie Day isn’t about vanity. OPPO gladly announced its partnership with Miss Possibilities, a beauty pageant for young women with special needs. Both organizations believe in redefining beauty and thus, are one in their cause in capturing the “real you” in every person.  The night ended with magical fireworks display that left a smile on everyone’s faces.

How to win a phone through selfies
