Score discounts, samples, and win a trip to France at Marketplace by Rustan’s The World of Wine Fair

There’s a growing number of millennials who are turning to more sophisticated drinks as they grow older. Think about chill, cozy nights at home while listening to relaxing music or a home-cooked dinner date with the love of your life or life-long friends. Sounds so chill and classy, right? Being part of this bracket, your resident millennial had to make sure to attend the opening of Marketplace by Rustan’s The World of Wine at the Shangri-La Plaza Grand Atrium last Thursday night (September 28, 2017). Since this is a 3-day wine fair, we’re giving you a glimpse of what to expect and why you should go.

Got some for ourselves, of course!

DISCOUNTS AND PRIZES

In The World of Wine fair, Marketplace by Rustan’s specially curated a wine list featuring quality choices from the rarest bottles in the world to vintage wines, which you can avail of at the best value. Choice wines with only a few bottles left in the market such as the 2010 Château Leoville-Las Cases Saint Julien 2 Cru Classe, the 1994 Château Leoville-Las Cases Saint Julien 2 Cru Classe, the 2003 Château Nenin Pomerol, the 2004 Clos du Marquis Saint Julien, and the 2008 Clos du Marquis Saint Julien will be sold exclusively during the event only.

So many bottles to choose from.

Special offers and exciting activities await, with a 10% discount on featured bottles of wine bought at the fair, a 15% discount for purchases of six bottles or more, and the chance to win the grand raffle prize of a trip to France and an overnight stay at Chateau Lamothe de Haux for those with receipts of P5,000 and above. A 2010 Cedar Creek Botrytis Semillon (375ml) and a 2002 Tamburlaine Orange Reserve (750ml) are also part of the 12 raffle prizes.

We’re talking about THIS castle in France, plus a vineyard tour.

MEET THE WINEMAKERS

Marketplace by Rustan’s is bringing us a taste of the best wines from the world’s finest vineyards and a chance to meet 12 highly-respected winemakers from across the globe. Different talks will be held during the fair from September 29 to October 1 at Shangri-la Plaza, but the wine festival does not end there. The celebration also continues in-store until October 8.

These winemakers from Australia, France, Spain, and Argentina will be bringing their best bottles to the fair and sharing their expertise on understanding the different kinds of wines and vineyards in the world, understanding how wine is made, the landscape of the wine industry in various wine appellations, and so much more.

Cheers to a successful wine fair!
