Shoppers at Shangri-La Plaza can now get their favorite products from all over the world at Marketplace by Rustan’s. The newly opened store is set to give Filipinos that world-class experience even as they shop here at home.
Shopping at Marketplace by Rustan’s is a lot more pleasurable with the carefully-thought out store layout and atmosphere. The interiors are based on the design by international retail artist Shozu Nitta, but with upgrades made specifically for the Shangri-La Plaza space. The store is brighter, bigger, and more beautiful, with wider aisles, state-of-the-art chillers and display showcases brought in from Europe. Efforts to make the store more environmentally friendly include adding refrigeration systems with less carbon emission and using LED lights which consume less electricity and cause less waste.
Shoppers will be delighted to find the store’s extensive gourmet selections from all over the world, all curated and categorized for ease and convenience. Get everything you need—whether they be rare finds or daily essentials—from Fresh World, Wine and Spirits World, Cooking World, Breakfast World, World of Indulgence and Snacks, Ready-to- Eat, World of Cheese and Deli, and daily bakes from Lartizan. The Wine and Spirits World, which has been expanded with more than 200 bottles, also carries rare, top-tier selections you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else.
Frequent travelers and foodies will be glad to know that Marketplace by Rustan’s has exclusive partnerships with British supermarket chain Waitrose and major French retailer Casino, as well as exclusivity to offer brands like Stash, Wild Harvest, and Stonewall Kitchen. The supermarket also brought in a wider range of paper, personal, and cleaning products from Seventh Generation, a pioneer in formulating plant-based products designed with human health and the environment in mind.
But it isn’t just the international goods that Marketplace by Rustan’s takes pride in—their very own SUPERGOODS line features a selection of responsibly sourced local products from social enterprises. Make a purchase with a purpose with beauty buys from Human Heart Nature, organic produce from Holy Carabao, snacks from The Cracking Monkey, Sabanana or Pili & Pino, chocolates from Theo & Philo or Coco Dolce or refreshments from Bayani Brew, Wellness Water, or Hope in a Bottle.
“Marketplace by Rustan’s aims to give shoppers a world-class shopping experience,” says CEO Irwin Lee. “From acquiring top-of-the-line equipment, to working exclusively with internationally known brands, and curating and expanding our product selections, we have made every effort to cater to our discerning customers’ needs and tastes.”
