With much growing up (a.k.a. adulting) to do, it wouldn’t hurt to embrace our inner child once in a while. Since millennials love the 90s scene so much, why not take the childlike experience up a notch and dive in a ball pit just like the old times?
In case you haven’t heard about it yet, there is an existing adult ball pit in the Metro called Ball Pit Manila… and it’s exclusively for “kid-ults” who are 16 years old and above (Sorry, real kids)! Their house rules include leaving shoes and responsibilities at the door, so expect a totally stress-free environment.
Do keep in mind to bring fresh socks, though. No fresh socks, no entry! Have no fear, they have socks for sale in case you come in unprepared. Why not rent their onesies (P400) to double the fun?
A mixture of coffee and play, the unit houses an all-white 2×2-meter ball pit – making it look more clean and classy for the soon-to-be full-pledged grownups — surrounded by small tables with card decks. You’re free to choose whichever game you’d like to play. They have Monopoly Deal, Exploding Kittenz, Dutch Blitz, and cult-favorite Cards Against Humanity among others. Perfect downtime activity after an hour (or less) of swimming and pushing each other in the pit.
We availed their P299 promo which comes with a complimentary drink (coffee or iced tea) and an hour of frolicking in the ball pit with 80,000 balls. There’s a time limit per group but they allow customers to stay longer during off-peak hours.
Regular price is at P349, inclusive of free drinks and an hour of ball-filled fun.
Try not to get lost. Ball Pit Manila looks like a regular condominium unit with a sign saying “Ball Pit Manila” at the door. It’s at the second floor of Campos Rueda Building, two right turns after the staircase.
Address: 101 Urban Avenue, Campos Rueda Building, Makati City
They accept walk-ins but it’s preferable that you book your playtime schedule. Promo price applies on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. but they’re also open on weekends.
By the way, they also offer special packages for photoshoots, conferences, team building, and parties. Check out their website (www.ballpitmanila.com) for more details. If ever our photos are not enough to convince you how fun it is to swim in the ball pit, visit their Instagram page: @ballpitmanila.
