Everything you need to know about the Nike After Dark Tour Manila 10K

Ready to run, ladies?

The hype is real! The Nike After Dark Tour Manila 10K sold out within hours of opening registration, but don’t worry, there’s still a way to snag a race bib. This November, women will be taking over the streets of Manila in what’s shaping up to be more than just a run. After getting a sneak peek of what’s to come, we can say that it’s more of a global movement that proves running here is about confidence, connection, and self‑expression.

Although it currently says “sold out” via website, Nike recently announced that guaranteed race bibs will be given to female runners who spend Php 12,000 on Nike running or training footwear and/or apparel at select stores. The promo is available at Nike Fort, Nike Mall of Asia, and Nike Glorietta, and bibs are limited on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Best to ask if there are still some available before splurging, though!

What’s the After Dark Tour All About?

The After Dark Tour is a global women’s running movement with stops in London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Mumbai, Shanghai, Sydney, and now Manila. It’s a celebration of women defining progress on their own terms. Manila’s edition happens this November 21, 2026, with a 10K route that highlights some of the city’s most iconic streets from Roxas Boulevard to Intramuros.

Unlike typical runs where you just show up on race day, Nike has rolled out an official training journey (https://www.afterdarktour.nike.com/en/training), with elevated sessions and weekly night runs to help both newbies and seasoned runners prepare. You’ll get to meet new friends and train with actual coaches who can help you with your pace. And just because it’s Nike doesn’t mean you have to be a pro before signing up! This run isn’t about chasing the fastest time; it’s about showing up, building consistency, and finding joy in movement.

What to Wear?

For more than five decades, Nike has worked alongside athletes to help shape the future of running. Long before there was a Nike Running shoe, there was a coach on a track searching for better solutions for athletes. That same spirit of curiosity, experimentation and athlete obsession continues to guide Nike Running today.

The latest innovations include the Pegasus Plus 2 and Aero-FIT apparel, designed to help runners feel confident, comfortable and supported throughout every stage of their journey. The Pegasus Plus 2 is designed to deliver responsive cushioning and energy return for runners across a range of distances and goals, while Aero-FIT apparel combines performance-driven design with comfort and breathability to help athletes feel their best through every run.

These sit within Nike’s Road Running system, designed to make it easier for runners to identify the benefits they need. The Pegasus offers responsive cushioning, Structure provides supportive cushioning and Vomero delivers maximum cushioning.

Here are my personal recommendations, which I got to test during our 3K trial run for the first day of training:

  • Nike Pegasus Plus 2 – has responsive cushioning which makes every stride feel smoother and lighter.
  • Nike Mid‑Rise 3″ Shorts – lightweight, cute, and comfy for longer runs. It’s available in other colors if you prefer more muted hues.
  • Nike Dri‑Fit UV Top – breathable, stylish, and great for Manila’s humid nights.

Head to Nike Fort, Nike Mall of Asia, or Nike Glorietta, and check out the promo details if you’re serious about securing your bib. See you at the starting line this November!
