There are a few things I never leave home without: my phone, my keys, my wallet, and a power bank. When your phone doubles as your camera, map, payment system, work tool, entertainment, communication line, and the way you book a ride home, running out of battery in the middle of the day is more than enough reason to panic. And with my days usually involving a mix of work, commuting, content, errands, and whatever random side quest happens along the way, having backup power is something I’ve learned not to skip.
While regular power banks are handy, let me introduce you to the Anker Zolo Magnetic Powerbank with 10,000mAh capacity, 30W charging, and a built-in USB-C cable. Here are five reasons why I’m switching to it as my everyday power bank.
1. It makes charging while I’m on the move much easier

One of my biggest issues with traditional power banks is that I usually end up with my phone and power bank connected by a long cable that easily gets tangled or a short cable that gets lost somewhere in my bag. It also usually takes up a lot of space, which doesn’t work for me when I’m using a small bag for formal events.
The Anker Zolo, on the other hand, gives me the option to charge magnetically with its Qi wireless charging, so I can simply attach it to my phone and continue using it. Note, however, that magnetic charging isn’t compatible with all smartphones so you’ll have to check if this feature is available n yours! That’s particularly useful when I’m commuting and need to check directions, reply to messages, book a ride, or take a quick photo without having to deal with a dangling cable.
2. I don’t have to remember to bring a charging cable

This might be my favorite everyday feature. The Anker Zolo comes with a built-in USB-C cable, which means there’s one less cable I have to remember to throw into my bag before leaving the house for my secondary smartphone that doesn’t support wireless charging. It also supports 30W fast charging, so when I do need a quick top-up, I have that option without needing to hunt for an outlet.
For someone who tends to leave the house with a bag full of things already, I’ll take anything that removes one more item from my packing checklist.
3. The 10,000mAh capacity gives me more room to get through the day

I don’t necessarily need to charge my phone from zero to 100% every day. Most of the time, I just need enough extra battery to get me through the rest of the day. The Anker Zolo’s 10,000mAh capacity is roughly equivalent to two full smartphone charges. That’s useful for those long days that start with a commute, continue at the office for non-stop email exchanges, and end with dinner, errands, or an unplanned stop for a side quest somewhere. Basically, it gives me a little more breathing room before I have to start looking for an outlet.
4. It doubles as a phone stand

A power bank that also works as a stand? That’s one of those features I didn’t know I would appreciate until I started using it. The built-in stand lets me prop my phone upright while charging when I’m working from a café, joining a call, checking notifications, or watching something during break time. And if you’re someone who works remotely or moves between different workspaces during the day, it’s a small feature that can make your setup a little more convenient. One less thing to bring. One less thing to prop your phone against.
5. It actually looks like something I want to carry

Let’s be real: if something is going to live in my everyday bag, I want to like looking at it, too. The Anker Zolo comes in colorful options, including pink, which makes it feel a little more fun than the usual power bank. Matches my pink phone strap, too!
And because I’m already carrying it everywhere, I’m happy to have one that feels like part of my everyday setup rather than just another piece of tech I need to bring along. This kind is safe for air travel so I would recommend that you consider it for your next trip, too. Based on my week-long test, it also doesn’t heat up unlike the previous magnetic power bank that I’ve used so that’s definitely a good sign.
What I like about the Anker Zolo is that none of these features exist in isolation. The magnetic charging makes it easier to use while I’m moving, the built-in USB-C cable means one less accessory to pack, the 10,000mAh capacity gives me enough backup for a long day, and the stand adds another use beyond charging. And that’s really what makes it work for my lifestyle. Because when your day involves commuting, working, creating content, running errands, and saying yes to the occasional spontaneous plan, your phone needs to keep up.So does the power bank you bring with it!
The Anker Zolo Magnetic Power Bank is now available online and in stores in the Philippines for Php 2,795 SRP.
