Travereel app turns group travel chaos into seamless adventures

Planning a day out with friends often means endless group chats, conflicting schedules, and the dreaded “how much do I owe you?” moment. Not to mention having to switch from multiple apps – messaging apps, maps, calendars, and more! That’s exactly what we avoided during our recent trip around Intramuros and Binondo, thanks to Travereel — a Filipino‑owned app that’s changing the way we plan, book, and enjoy travel.

At the heart of Travereel is Vicky, the app’s AI‑gent (get it? AI agent *wink wink*) designed to take the stress out of trip planning. Instead of scrolling through countless blogs and vlogs, we simply entered our preferred area, duration, budget, and swiped left and right to choose which activities we like and don’t like. Within seconds, Vicky generated a personalized itinerary that included Manila’s must‑see historical landmarks, hidden gems, and even food stops.

Our day started at Fort Santiago, continued with a stroll through Intramuros’ cobblestone streets, and ended with a Binondo food crawl. All of these were perfectly timed and mapped out within the app. It felt like having a personal travel concierge who knew exactly how to balance culture, fun, and affordability.

Here’s a look at some of the sites we were able to visit:

Travereel also solved one of the biggest headaches in group travel: coordination. The app’s built‑in Group Chat let us talk about destinations and finalize stops without juggling multiple threads. Even better, the Split Billing feature automatically divided expenses for entrance fees, meals, and pasalubong shopping. No more awkward calculations, just transparent, hassle‑free fun!

Personally, what makes Travereel unique for me is being an all-in-one app with a video‑centric social network. We discovered hidden gems through reels shared by fellow travelers, and with one tap, added those hotels and activities directly into our itinerary. Creators even earn commissions when bookings happen through their content, making it a platform that supports both explorers and storytellers.

It’s like they understand how Filipinos plan trips today through short‑form content, shared experiences, and smart technology. With AI‑powered itineraries, seamless group coordination, and exclusive booking perks, it makes travel personalized, collaborative, and stress‑free.

Although it’s made by a Filipino, Travereel can also plan out a trip for you when you’re overseas! Can’t wait to see if it also gives accurate suggestions during my Japan adventure next month.

Travereel is already available on Google Play and Apple App Store.
