SNEAK PEEK: Experience Wireless MagCharge on a budget with Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G

Hate carrying huge and heavy powerbanks or chargers all the time? This soon-to-launch smartphone from Infinix might be able to help you keep up with your day-to-day routine without constantly needing to look for a power outlet. In a recent media event held at Studio 300, Infinix Philippines showcased the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G with a game-changing 100W All-Round Fast Charge and 20W Wireless MagCharge feature.

At the heart of the NOTE 40 Pro+ is its robust 4,600mAh battery, ensuring users can go about their day without constantly worrying about running out of juice. What sets it apart, however, is its support for up to 100W of supercharging, allowing for lightning-fast charging times. But the real game-changer is the inclusion of 20W wireless charging, providing users with the freedom to power up their device without the hassle of cables.

Before its official launch on April 24, here’s a closer look so you can check if it fits your lifestyle:

INSIDE THE BOX

Right off the bat, you already see a bunch of features that are unique to the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ — NGC, sound by JBL, 100W All-Round FastCharge 2.0, and big storage. The package has two boxes – one for the unit and one for the Wireless Magnetic Charger. Inside the main box, you’ll find the unit, a MagCharge case, a tempered glass set which you’ll need to apply yourself, a user manual and warranty card, some stickers, a SIM ejector tool, USB Type-C cable, and a power brick. The thinner box for the MagPad contains a manual and the magnetic charger.

FEATURES

The main highlight is its charging and battery, given how the smartphone is only within the midrange segment, yet it comes with such a feature which can usually be found in flagship devices. However, beyond its charging capabilities, the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ also comes with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, this display not only delivers vibrant colors and crisp visuals but also offers durability and peace of mind against scratches and cracks.

Under the hood, the NOTE 40 Pro+ is powered by a Dimensity 7020 chipset for a smooth performance and responsiveness even while multitasking. With up to 24GB of extended RAM, users can work on different things with ease, switching between apps and games without any lag or slowdown.

People with love for all things aesthetic may also appreciate the triple camera setup which takes decent photos. What makes it special is its Sky Shop which makes outdoor images look wow-worthy with vibrant stars or a rainbow. Film mode with different presets – Sport, Party, Performance, and the like — are also available for those who like vlogging!

To top it all off, the NOTE 40 Pro+ boasts of an immersive audio experience in collaboration with JBL – an audio device company known for its rich, balanced sound that elevates users’ entertainment experience.

These are just some of the notable features that I was able to play with during the 3-hour test. Full specs are on Infinix Philippines’ e-comm pages. It looks promising so far and we can’t wait to know more details once it’s officially launched on April 24 both online and in offline kiosks.
