‘Arcane’ teaser hints at possible appearance of Warwick in Season 2

The League of Legends (LOL) community is buzzing with excitement and even more fan theories as Netflix drops a one-minute first look at the upcoming second season of Arcane, set to premiere in November 2024. The video opens with a shot of Singed on a chair, seemingly pumping blood into tubes beneath a mysterious, monstrous creature suspended from the ceiling. Fans familiar with LOL lore speculate that this creature could be the iconic character Warwick! While it’s still to early to confirm anything (we could be wrong), we’re definitely hooked. Why can’t we fast forward to November, right?

One of the most intriguing fan theories we’ve read from Season 1 suggests a twist involving Vander, whom we thought already died. Rumors in the LOL community say that Silco has held Vander captive and has transformed him into the werewolf-like Warwick (also a playable champion in the game). If this is indeed true and if it really is the plot for Season 2, then we’re expecting more action as he goes against Vi (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld), Jinx (Ella Purnell), Caitlyn (Katie Leung), and the rest of the gang. It’s also thrilling to see more LOL characters come to life in this well-written storyline.

Crafted by visionaries Christian Linke and Alex Yee, the series is backed by executive producers Christian Linke, Marc Merrill, and Brandon Beck, ensuring a seamless blend of storytelling and animation prowess, together with Riot Games and Fortiche Productions.

The first season of Arcane made history with four Primetime Emmy Award wins, including Outstanding Animated Program and Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation. The series dominated the ANNIE AWARDS, clinching victories in all nine nominated categories, showcasing its excellence in character design, storytelling, and more. Definitely a must-watch, even for non-LOL players. You don’t need to have any background about the characters in order to appreciate this series!

As the League of Legends universe continues to expand through the lens of Arcane, the second season holds the promise of even greater adventures, darker secrets, and a visual treat that captivates both seasoned gamers and newcomers alike. More details will be available towards November 2024, as Netflix reveals more of Runeterra. Can’t wait!
