Even with revenge travel becoming a thing, some people (myself included) just can’t find the time to pack their bags and fly to a different land for a couple of days. The best we can do? Eat to our heart’s content without leaving the Metro. Good things restaurants like Queens at Bollywood, which specializes in Indian cuisine, are easily accessible when it comes to our foreign cravings.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Makati City, Queens at Bollywood takes food enthusiasts on a culinary adventure like no other. With its dedication to authentic Indian cuisine, a wide selection of popular street food, and an inclusive menu that caters to both vegan preferences and Filipino tastes through Indian fusion, this establishment stands as a gastronomic haven.

From the fragrant spices of North Indian curries to the delicate coastal flavors of South India, this restaurant takes pride in presenting an authentic Indian dining experience that transports guests to the streets of Mumbai, Delhi, and beyond. The restaurant owner is also very strict when it comes to the spiciness of their meals! We’ve seen it firsthand.

The menu features delicacies such as Papri Chaat — a combination of crispy chips, yogurt, and chutney; Pani Puri — a deep-friend crisp flatbread filled with tangy and flavorful spiced water, and different variants of Naan — a thick flatbread with either cheese or garlic.

In recognition of the diverse dietary preferences of its patrons, Queens at Bollywood offers a range of vegan options. This part of the menu is thoughtfully crafted to deliver delicious and satisfying meals that cater to plant-based lifestyles, while at the same time enticing meat-eaters to add veggies to their diet. My favorite would be their Honey Chili Cauliflower which honestly takes like my mom’s homemade Sweet and Spicy Pork!

They also offer the fan-favorite Mango Lassi, a yummy creamy drink primarily made out of mango and yogurt, and a wide selection of sodas and alcoholic drinks. Definitely a place to consider if you need a place to unwind after work hours.

Hearty Meal Made Affordable

Queens at Bollywood believes in making their food accessible to all. With prices that are friendly to various budgets — from individual to group meals, guests can indulge in a memorable dining experience without breaking the bank. For around Php 1,500, you can already enjoy a full-course meal for two, understand the hype of Indian street food, and indulge in fusion creations, all within a reasonable budget.
