Aside from murder mysteries and serial killer documentaries, intricate schemes from world-famous heists are always included in my to-read and to-watch list. Many might be wondering why people like me are fascinated over a criminal act, so I suggest that you check out true-to-life stories featured on History’s Greatest Heists with Pierce Brosnan, premiering on HISTORY Channel this April 30, 2023. Using dramatic recreations, dynamic storytelling, cutting-edge visual effects, and first-person witness accounts, the show will explore the intricate schemes of some of the world’s most criminal masterminds.

As a woman who has first-hand experience on what it’s like to be a victim of theft and see a robbery scene up-close, I’ve always wondered what goes inside these people’s minds. While the ones I’ve witnessed are probably done mainly for survival, the most famous ones involve months and even years of planning. Some of these criminals who risked their freedom for wealth and riches can even be considered geniuses to some extent!
