SNEAK PEEK: Screenshots, first 8 minutes of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 are now out!

Stranger Things fans, do you copy?

Netflix went all out this week in giving fans a preview of the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things and it’s not strange at all, given that we’re only a few days away from the release of Volume 1! Local representatives from the press and select online personalities were treated to an advance screening of episode 1 on Friday, followed by the release of the first 8 minutes of the show via the Netflix Facebook page, along with screenshots to keep us wondering what’s going to happen next. Early this week, photos of the cast from the red carpet premiere in Brooklyn have also been circulating on social media (and as always, Winona Ryder looks stunning).

Season 4 takes place six months after the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, the group of friends — Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Max (Sadie Sink) — have been separated for the first time. Navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier as well, and you can see in one of the recent trailers that a powerless Eleven is being bullied on the school grounds. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down. But the question is, will it really be put to an end this season? We’ll find out soon!

Here’s a sneak peek at Episode 1:
