To try or not to try: Pizza Hut’s new Cheese Pimiento Stuffed Crust Pizza

When choosing a pizza place, the first thing I check from reviews is the thickness of the crust. I usually choose thin crust pizza flavors, but there’s always one exception — when the restaurant offers stuffed crust options! This is one of the reasons why I was so stoked to try the newest addition to Pizza Hut‘s menu: The Cheese Pimiento Stuffed Crust Pizza!

Now that I’ve mentioned my preferences, you probably know where this is going, but since a couple of friends have been asking for my detailed and honest opinion, here’s a public review from a normal person (a.k.a. okay with fine dining but can survive on fast food and street food, no allergies whatsoever):

Let’s start with the basics: Cheese Pimiento Stuffed Crust Pizza isn’t a combination of toppings on the pizza. It’s literally cheese inside the crust! You’ll find smooth and silky mozzarella enrobed with a generous Cheese Pimiento drizzle inside the crust. Personally, this makes the crust edible for me as I’m the type of person who usually eats everything except the crust part. I usually cut it off and give it to someone who can eat more bread. The Mozzarella and Cheese Pimiento combination is also really good! You’ll get more cheese vs bread in every bite.

You can combine the Cheese Pimiento Stuffed Crust to any of Pizza Hut’s existing flavors — Cheese Lovers, Pepperoni Lovers, or Veggie Lovers pizza, which comes in Regular (Php 449) and Large (Php 689) servings. You can also choose from their more flavorful options like Supreme, Hawaiian Supreme, Bacon Cheeseburger, Bacon Margherita, Bacon Supreme, or Cheese Supreme pizza for the price of Php 479 for Regular and Php 729 for Large. If you want specialty pizza flavors, you’ll have to pay a higher price, though. Cheese Pimiento Stuffed Crust with Super Supreme, Meat Lovers, or Chicken Supreme will cost you Php 509 for Regular and Php 759 for Large. For triple the fun, you can get the Cheese Pimiento Triple Pizza Treat for only Php 1,249: 1 Large Cheese Pimiento Stuffed Crust Pizza (any flavor), 1 Large Hawaiian Supreme Pan Pizza, and 1 Large Pepperoni Lovers Pan Pizza.

The Cheese Pimiento flavor does not end with the crust, though! My favorite part about this new addition is the generous — and I mean GENEROUS, pimiento drizzle on top of our favorite pizza toppings. If you can, I would suggest that you request for more of that dressing because I saw some photos earlier with really thin drizzles only. This part makes a huge difference to the overall flavor! It makes the cheesy pimiento flavor pop, giving us mild yet complex flavors with every bite. In fact, I would love to mix that dressing with any type of food. I have the same feelings for ranch dressing, too. (Pizza Hut, pls sell your dressing separately. I’d love to buy one. haha!)

My only comment about the pizza is that it doesn’t give the same magical burst of flavors when served cold so best to finish it while it’s hot and fresh off the oven. You’ll also be able to appreciate the gooey cheese better this way!

Aside from a la carte pizza, you can also order Cheese Pimiento Stuffed Crust with your meals and Hot Deals. First is the Pimiento Meal for 2, priced at Php 629, which comes with 1 Regular Cheese Pimiento Stuffed Crust Pizza (any flavor), 1 Single Spaghetti Carbonara, 1 Single Spaghetti Bolognese, and 2 single servings of Pepsi. There is also the Pimiento Meal for 4, priced at Php 1,149, which comes with 1 Large Cheese Pimiento Stuffed Crust Pizza (any flavor), 5 pieces of WingStreet Honey BBQ wings, 1 Family Spaghetti Bolognese, and 1 Pepsi Pitcher for dine-in or 4 servings of 12oz Pepsi for take out and delivery.

HOW TO ORDER?

You can call Pizza Hot via their hotline 8911-1111, order online through Pizza Hut’s official website here, or via Pizza Hut Mobile App, available for Android and iOS. Pizza Hut is also available on GrabFood, foodpanda, and Pickaroo, but prices may vary.

So, to try or not to try? The answer is TRY IT! You’ll enjoy it, especially if you want to take a break from pizza flavors that contain more bread than toppings.
