Uniqlo Fall/Winter 2020: New outfits to cop from Hana Tajima, Inès de La Fressange, and more

Despite not being able to go out and show off our #OOTD looks on the streets, it’s not surprising to know that some people are still turning to retail therapy to keep themselves sane (and hopeful) during the quarantine period. Of course, fashion pieces continue to pop out but Japanese global apparel retailer Uniqlo has considered both comfort and style in every piece. They even partnered with fashion designer Hana Tajima and Inès de La Fressange for their Fall/Winter 2020 collection! To keep you updated about the latest pieces in store, here’s a peek at our favorites:

Hana Tajima for Uniqlo

New York-based fashion designer Hana Tajima’s collection showcases cultural diversity through universal designs with focus on detail and comfort – highlighting elegant forms and an easy fit. The clothes are described as pieces that “adapt flexibly to women’s bodies as they subtly change with progression to each life stage, warmly supporting the everyday lives of all women”.

Textiles with leaf and grass patterns, and neutral tones of cold and warm color schemes emphasize subtle beauty in each piece. Tops can be styled with just one side of the hem tucked in and pants also have adjustable waists for a perfect fit!

Inès de La Fressange for Uniqlo

An homage to feminine freedom from the epitome of French Chic – that’s what Inès de La Fressange’s collection is all about. This set is based on the LifeWear concept of simple, high-quality clothing that makes life better. The range includes 100% silk blouses and wrap dresses as wardrobe essentials for sophisticated women. It also captures 1970s Bohemian culture through its pleated skirts and dresses in prints from paisley to polka dot patterns. They also have knitwear!

Smart Ankle Pants Collection

As an EZY Ankle Pants version 2.0, the Smart Ankle Pants collection is made with two-way stretch material (both vertically and horizontally) for a more comfortable fit while sitting or stretching. Center pleats don’t easily loosen even after several washes, so it’s good for everyday wear, too. These cost Php 1,490 and designs for both men and women are available.

AIRism

One of my favorite Uniqlo collections! AIRism has comfort conditioning technology which wicks away moisture, releases heat, and absorbs sweat to provide maximum comfort. It’s a good choice for people like me who are working from home.

Aside from these, Uniqlo has updated their online stores with pieces under t-shirts (check out the Demon Slayer line if you’re into anime!), dresses, outerwear, ultra stretch jeans, and even Heattech for those who need extra warmth for the upcoming cold Ber month nights. May you be lounging at home, occasionally going out for a run, or attending online video meetings for work, Uniqlo has new pieces that can fit your daily activities:

You can check out available pieces through their website or app for safety! I’ve tried ordering from their app and my items came in within just a week. For those who live near malls or Uniqlo branches, they also have a pick-up option so you won’t need to pay for a delivery fee.
