Make way for Queen Bey! A Beyoncé film will be blessing your Netflix screens soon

Yaass! Looks like Netflix heard our prayers. After releasing films featuring the concerts and lives of artists like Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Whitney Houston, Netflix will soon be putting the spotlight on no other than the Queen B herself – Beyoncé, this April.

The 2-hour feature called “HOMECOMING: A film by Beyoncé” will star Beyoncé Knowles- Carter and her historic 2018 Coachella performance that reveals an emotional road from creative concept to cultural movement. Homecoming presents an intimate look at her homage to America’s historically black colleges and universities. Expect never-before-seen candid footage and interviews detailing the preparation and powerful intent behind her vision.

Here’s a quick peek:

A millennial-favorite, Beyoncé has been known not only for being a top-selling artist, but also as an empowered woman and an ally in a lot of causes. The 37-year-old singer has been very vocal about her support to fans and has given back so much to victims of calamities, people with AIDS/HIV, disadvantaged youths, and the LGBTQ+ community, to name a few.

Get in formation because in a few days, we’ll be celebrating the homecoming of this queen! For more details, visit https://www.netflix.com/homecoming.
