Netflix-loving millennials probably would’ve heard about speculations that Black Mirror Season 4 is the last season in the British science-fiction anthology television series created by Charlie Brooker. While some souls were slightly crushed by this possibility, given that the Black Museum (S04E06) seemed to look like a redeeming closing episode after all the horrors of the previous stories, March is off to a good start for us since we’ve just got word that there is more of Black Mirror on the way.
“Patience is a virtue“, reminds Netflix Philippines in their latest press release. With it comes the announcement that its utterly addictive, Emmy Award-winning anthology series has been renewed for a much-anticipated Season 5.
Black MIrror took to Twitter this teaser for a new season with a caption that says: “The future will be brighter than ever.” It doesn’t explain a lot but it seems to be hinting at the upcoming season filled with the joys and perils of a technologically advanced world. The 17-second teaser also include snippets from previous episodes like San Junipero, Fifteen Million Merits, Nosedive, USS Callister, and The National Anthem.
