Want to catch ‘feels’? Watch this ‘Love, Simon’ trailer!

20th Century Fox has recently released the first batch of photos and trailers of another teen romance movie that is set to melt our hearts this year. Based on Becky Albertalli’s novel, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, director Greg Berlanti (Riverdale, The Flash) takes the challenge of putting together a special coming-of-age story that is very relatable to our generation.

Love, Simon tells the story of Simon Spier (played by Nick Robinson), who has yet to come out to his family and friends. To make things more complicated, he has fallen for an anonymous classmate after constant communications online.  Resolving both issues pave the way for hilarious, terrifying, and life-changing moments that we may have also experienced in real-life.

Watch the trailer released by 20th Century Fox last January 16 here:

There’s this one section of the film where Simon imagines this one boy and imagines them kissing underneath the mistletoe at Christmas,” says Berlanti in recent interviews. “In every other major studio film, it’s always the guy and the girl. And there was something so powerful about it being just a guy imagining himself with this other guy in a film again that was going to be marketed and sold as a mainstream romantic comedy.

Aside from Nick Robinson, Love, Simon also stars Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why), Alexandra Shipp (young Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse), Jorge Lendeborg (Spiderman: Homecoming), Miles Heizer, Keiynan Lonsdale (The Flash), Logan Miller (Walking Dead), Jennifer Garner, Josh Duhamel, and Tony Hale in this 20th Century Fox movie which will be distributed by Warner Bros.

Find yourself and fall in love as Love, Simon steps into cinemas nationwide on May 9, 2018. As the trailer reiterates, keep in mind: Everyone deserves a great love story. ♥
