If you’re a cat lover (or someone who loves changing wallpapers every single day), I encourage you to read through this post until the end.
Let’s face it: Cats can make a difference in the world by spreading good vibes… and turning your furniture into scratch posts while lurking in the darkness with glaring eyes (Still cute!). Nonetheless, they’re still adorable little furballs that can boost your mood and relieve you from stress.
According to the Purina website, there’s an existing study which states that cat owners are 40% less likely to die from a heart attack. Spending quality time (about 15 to 30 minutes) with a cat — petting them, playing with them, or even just carrying them around — is proven to calm one’s nerves.
Too bad you can’t put them in your pocket and pet them while you’re at work or school! However, you can keep them in your laptop or desktop while opening multiple tabs. These kitties pop up your screen every time you open a new tab on your Google Chrome browser through the Tabby Cats Club plug-in from the Chrome Web Store.
Every time you refresh your screen, a new cat says hi with a name you’d probably want to bestow on your next pet.
They don’t do much so don’t expect a lot to happen while you’re waiting for your screen. You can accessorize them, though. Tabby Cats Club counts how many tabs you’ve opened and awards you with things you can put on your digital cats. I have glasses and a crown as of now.
If you’re lucky enough, you’ll see rainbow-colored and star-filled screens from time to time. View a sample page here.
I’ll let you judge from here.
Want to see more? Download the plug-in now and see for yourself! I’m actually enjoying it as it doesn’t take up much space. Plus, it makes my browser look really clean. Rating this with five stars just because it’s cute! As simple as that.
Manila Millennial would like to thank Jonah for introducing us to our new paw pals. Much love!
