American Standard celebrates 150 years of innovation, comfort, and giving back

American Standard has been a trusted name in homes around the world, bringing comfort, quality, and timeless design to bathrooms and kitchens, but did you know that they have been around for a century and a half already? From everyday routines to meaningful family moments, the brand has consistently evolved to meet the changing needs of modern living.

Now, as it enters its next chapter, the brand remains committed to designing products that enhance everyday life. To kick off its 150th year celebration, American Standard recently hosted a Special Partners’ Night themed “Inspired by Life,” bringing together trade partners, architects, designers, and media friends. The event paid tribute to the brand’s rich heritage while offering a glimpse into its future under the refreshed brand claim: “Life. Love. Home.”

American Standard takes pride in staying ahead of the curve by responding to emerging lifestyle trends across Asia and the Philippines. How do they do it? Audrey Yeo, Leader of LWT Asia Pacific, shared insights during the celebration:

“People like using the bathroom space as a space to recharge and relax and this is a trend that we’re seeing across Asia,” says Yeo. “Another trend that we’re seeing is compact space living is becoming more and more in Asia and what we’re seeing is the blurring space between the bedroom and bathroom is becoming a reality.”

In the Philippines, American Standard is designing with both compact and multi-generational households in mind, as well as rising expectations in the hospitality sector.

“If you look at the Philippines, for example, there are two clear dynamics that we have observed. One, in households, Filipino families are balancing between compact living and multi-generational living space. In the hospitality sector, we are seeing guests have a higher level of expectations when it comes to comfort and experience. So all these are taken into consideration when we design our products,” she adds.
However, the celebration doesn’t begin and end with a single event. To mark this milestone, the brand is also giving back to its loyal Filipino customers through the American Standard 150 Raffle Promotion*, available at all Wilcon branches nationwide.

Running until February 28, 2026, the promo gives shoppers one raffle entry for every Php 10,000 single-receipt purchase of American Standard products. Prizes include a BYD Hybrid Electric Sedan, a Honda EM1 Electric Vehicle, a Xiaomi Mi Smart Electronic Bike, and 150 units of American Standard products, including the Duostix Hygiene Spray, Smart Washer Manual Bidet, and Neo Modern 3-Way Rain Shower.
