Are you tired of always seeing white people or Koreans on beauty ads? Same here. That’s why I always find it empowering when global beauty brands introduce Southeast Asian and proudly morena ambassadors who truly represent the population. It’s easier to boost confidence when you feel represented, after all! In this case, Garnier has found the perfect fit with actress, singer, and Pinay kabogera Maymay Entrata as its newest brand ambassador. Her natural beauty and down-to-earth yet radiant confidence makes her an ideal face for the brand’s latest skincare innovations: The Bright Complete Serum Cleanser and Vitamin C Booster Serum tailored for Asian skin.

These two products target common skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and uneven skin tone caused by high sun exposure. The Bright Complete Serum Cleanser, inspired by Garnier’s best-selling Vitamin C Serum, is formulated to remove up to 99% of impurities while brightening the skin in just one wash. Tested on over 200 Asian consumers, including Filipinos, it features a gentle, non-drying formula ideal for daily use. Meanwhile, the newly formulated Vitamin C Booster Serum targets dark spots and uneven skin tone even for sensitive skin types, having been tested on over 500 Asian skin tones. Best to use them back-to-back, though!

“We are thrilled to offer Filipinos innovations that are tested on and made for Filipino skin tones and types. This brand milestone reinforces Garnier’s commitment to making quality skincare and beauty products accessible to all,” said Yassine Bakkari, Country Managing Director of L’Oréal Philippines.
The New Face of Garnier

Maymay Entrata’s introduction as Garnier’s latest brand ambassador brings a fresh and relatable energy to the brand’s campaign. With the catchy new campaign tagline, “C in One Wash,” Garnier emphasizes the instant brightening power of its new cleanser through a catchy song performed by Maymay.
“I believe in a simple yet effective skincare routine, and Garnier makes that so easy. The Bright Complete Vitamin C Serum Cleanser, an ideal two-in-one product, is a staple in my daily self-care ritual,” said Entrata.
Garnier’s Commitment to Sustainability
Beyond skincare innovation, Garnier continues to prioritize sustainability. The Garnier Green Academy highlighted the brand’s efforts to develop eco-friendly skincare solutions. Currently, 67% of Garnier’s ingredients are bio-based or derived from abundant materials, and 65% of its packaging is made from renewable or recycled sources. Additionally, 100% of its store displays and collaterals are now created with eco-designed materials.
Garnier also remains dedicated to reducing plastic waste in the Philippines. In partnership with Watsons Philippines, the brand launched the “Recycle for Rewards” initiative in 2024, making recycling more accessible to consumers.
Other products that now contain improved formulations for Asian skin were also on display at the Garnier Green Academy:
