What’s in the Bag: Cuckoo vs Weeshee Oishi Gift Bags for Christmas

During gatherings with family and friends, there’s one topic that never grows old: Nostalgic snacks! Just two days ago, my friends and I were even discussing how we had Pillows and Bread Pan in our recess bag every single day. So this Christmas, I’m giving my buddies a little something that fits my budget and their taste (literally) — gift bags filled with both nostalgic and new snacks from Oishi.

There are two types of Oishi Gift Bags that you can get for a limited time: Cuckoo Gift Bags (Php 133) and Weeshee Gift Bags (Php 87). Both sets are in Christmas-themed plastic bags but the former contains more snacks. While both would serve as a yummy holiday treat, here’s a comparison between the contents of both bags to help you decide which one to get:

There are 13 snacks inside the Cuckoo Bag — Fishda, Bizikits, Prawn Crackers, Bread Pan, Miggos, Crispy Patata, Cracklings, Pillows, Potato Fries, 4X, Marty’s Cracklin’, Rinbee, and Chokulot. It also comes with a cute Oishi notepad!

On the other hand, the Weeshee Bag may not contain a free notepad but it comes with a single pack of Hi Coffee! It has 10 snacks inside — Miggos, Potato Fries, Bread Pan, 4X, Fishda, Pillows, Chokulot, Marty’s Cracklin’, Ribbed Cracklings, and Prawn Crackers.

Although it’s hard to choose, I personally prefer the Weeshee bag because of the coffee and two of my favorites — Marty’s Cracklin’ and the classic Ribbed Cracklings. I wouldn’t mind receiving a Cuckoo bag too, though! I just feel like the Cuckoo set will be more appreciated by the young ones.

Both are available in grocery stores nationwide, as well as online via Shopee Mall and LazMall. Both sets are currently on sale with Php 160 off for every 8 Cuckoo Bags and Php 105 off for every 8 Weeshee Bags. To save more this holiday season, you can also use our voucher code OISHCHMYQ via the Shopee vouchers tab to get additional 10% off storewide until December 31, 2022.

Happy Holidays!
