Another realme C series model has just arrived and it surprisingly looks way more chic and classy than what I initially expected! While its predecessor — the realme C25, boasts of its build and battery, the newly released realme C35 looks like an achiever in terms of design and camera specs for its price. I can already imagine this being one of the go-to smartphones of those who want aesthetic vibes without spending a fortune.

It has an eye-catching Dynamic Glowing Design in Glowing Green (in photos) and Glowing Black colors. Compared to other realme smartphones, the realme C35 has a more squared-off look which may take some time to get used to, especially if you’ve used rounded models before. It’s easy to hold, though! It only weighs 189 grams — the lightest out of the C Series smartphones to date, and it has an 8.1mm Ultra Slim Design. Don’t judge it just by its beauty, though! The realme C35 is also a toughie as it earned a TÜV Rheinland Smartphone High Reliability Certification which guarantees its overall durability.

While the other features such as 6.6″ FHD+ Large Display, Unisoc T616 Processor, 5000mAh Battery with 18W Quick Charge, and decent storage are worth noting, let us focus on the camera for now. For a smartphone which only costs around Php 8,000, the realme C35 packs a 50MP AI Triple Camera Setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP Macro Lens (f/2.4), and a 2MP B&W Lens (f/2.8). What’s even more surprising is the leveled up front camera — an 8MP Sony IMX355 Selfie Camera which provides clearer images and better shots than its predecessors. However, I still prefer taking photos under bright lights indoors or during a sunny day outdoors.

It’s capable of taking burst shots, time lapse, panoramic shots, macro shots, and even photos under lowlight with the help of its Night Pro feature. Users also have the option to switch to 50M or Pro for better image quality. Artsy shots are also possible with the help of built-in Filters: Kelvin, Nostalgia, Vivid, Blue, Nashville, Winter, Mono, Warm, and History. These filters remind me of the popular Instagram filters during its first few years!

The smartphone’s Portrait Mode is also pretty decent as it does not blur out the sides of a person’s head in an awkward way, however, it can only be used via the rear camera. Using a tripod and timer can help, though.
