6 Things to do at the SM Mall of Asia Summer Wonderland

Summer is finally here and I’m sure you can already feel the scorching heat of the sun! While some people go straight to the beach to get some R&R, others prefer walking around airconditioned malls with their own set of summer activities. Take SM Mall of Asia (SM MOA) in Pasay City as an example! To welcome the summer sun this March, they prepared month-long activities and opened their Summer Wonderland for shoppers to enjoy. In case you’re planning to visit with family and friends in the next few months, here’s a list of things to do:

1. Check out MOA’s Wonderland Flower Time Installation

At the Main Mall Atrium of SM MOA, you’ll find an Inflatable Art Display designed by Molly Chen and Mark Magnaye. This larger than life installation brought to life by Inflatable Factory is filled with bright colorful florals that remind us of inflatable parks that we used to visit when we were young. You can take a stroll and strike a pose with the huge flowers when you visit! This magical scene will be up from March 25 to June 5.

2. Beat the heat with Summer Eats

Is a visit to the mall ever complete without buying good food? SM MOA will be offering dining deals and the coolest treats to answer our summer cravings from April 1 to May 31. Watch out for announcements on their Facebook page to know the best places to visit at the mall!

3. Take a photo or film a video at new Instagram-worthy areas

It’s been a while since we last went to the mall and SM MOA is now way more colorful! They now have rainbow-fied stairs located at Level 1, South Entertainment Mall and a colorful Art Walk at MOA Square. There’s also a huge Summer mural at Level 1 of the Main Mall. You’ll also find a huge tiger guarding the entrance!

4. Celebrate MOA Milk Tea Fest

A tea-rrific summer together with bobas and pearls? It’s possible at SM MOA from April 18 to 30! Special milk tea deals and promos will be up for grabs during the Milk Tea Fest at the Main Mall Atrium during those two weeks. Don’t forget to bring your bes-tea or maybe your tea-ta to treat you! 😉

5. Shop at the BIG! BIG! SUMMER SALE!

Just in time for our summer #OOTD serye, expect discounts up to 70% off from your favorite brands at the mall from March 30 to April 2. This is the best time for people like me who want to shop for items at the most affordable amount possible.

6. Stay fit at SM by the BAY

My mom and I used to join Zumba sessions at SM by the BAY before the pandemic happened and to be honest, I kinda miss it! This April, we’re getting more than just Zumba classes because there are more fitness sessions being offered to shoppers:

  • Zumba classes at Central and Sunset Park: 6 AM to 9 AM every weekend
  • Jump Manila activities: April 2, 9, 23, and 30 from 7 AM to 9 AM
  • Yoga sessions with Teacher Vina Oh at the North Fountain: April 22, 23, 29, and 30 from 5 PM to 6:30 PM
  • Bike clinics for kids with Bike United Marshals: May 2022 (schedule TBC) from 7 AM to 9 AM

It’s a wonderland for everyone — from foodies to fitness enthusiasts. Hope to see you around SM Mall of Asia’s Summer Wonderland!
