5 #AestheticGoals that you can find in the newly released ASUS VivoBook S14

Working under industries that requires you to unleash your creative side at least 12 hours a day can be quite challenging. The same applies to art and design students, like my Gen Z sister, who need to draw inspiration from her surroundings most of the time. Despite the millennial-vs-Gen Z differences, my sister and I are able to make similar decisions on whether something is #AestheticGoals-worthy or not and the newly launched ASUS VivoBook S14 just hits all the check boxes in both our aesthetics lists.

In case you’re not yet familiar with the term, the word “aesthetic” has been thrown around social media for a very long time now and it’s usually paired with #goals – for things that people want to have. With this, let me explain that by using the new unit within the VivoBook S series as an example:

Being always on the go, our generation can’t let the extra weight to slow down our movements. With a lightweight laptop that can easily fit inside a tote bag or even a shoulder bag, being at an “always on” state is as easy as pie. At 14-inches, it only weighs 1.4 kilograms – even lighter than thick platform shoes!

Despite being light and compact, it still packs a punch with its Intel Core i7 (also available in i5) 10th gen processor, an NVIDIA GeForce MX350, and 512GB SSD storage.

Monochrome with a pop of color? Check. Additional accent that matches your red lipstick? Check. Pastel #OOTD (outfit of the day)? Check. With fun colors like our favorite Resolute Red and Gaia Green, along with the eye-catching Dreamy White and Indie Black variants, it’s not hard to match the ASUS VivoBook S14 with our outfit or our mood. It’s not bulky and the color is vibrant enough to match anyone’s youthful vibe.

It’s not just the outer color that makes it standout! The metallic chassis makes the unit even more young-looking with its silver keyboard that seem to sparkle under bright lights, a yellow color-blocking key to make it easier to spot the Enter key, and a silver edge that elegantly reflects light. The red top color is also matte-like and less prone to fingerprints compared with an average 14-inch laptop.

With a Full HD NanoEdge display, getting an immersive view of our creative work is not a problem at all. Users automatically get more screen space to binge-watch their favorite shows, edit new artworks, write or read online materials for both work and play. Aside from the sleek screen frame, the speakers are also neatly hidden below the laptop to make it look more elegant.

Our aesthetic goals need to exude what we want to look or feel like, so personalizing our laptops with stickers and other artsy-fartsy pieces are a must! Our days are already gloomy as it is, so having a vibrant day-to-day partner for both work and leisure can definitely help make things feel a bit better (and more uplifting).

The Resolute Red variant alone looks neat with any sticker color but the five free stickers inside the laptop box are just spot-on. If you’d like to go beyond, the small stickers can also go on top of any key, on the camera, or next to the trackpad for more fun!

Plus, the packaging is also environmental-friendly, adding to its positive impact to our taste. Overall, this new laptop meets all visual aesthetic elements we can think of – color, shape, texture, balance, scale, and even visual weight!
