UNBOXING: 10″ vs 3.75″ The Child a.k.a. Baby Yoda Funko Pop

We’re now on the 9th #CesPlays video on our YouTube Channel! I may still be unboxing tech and lifestyle-related items on the page but showing these new collectibles still rank first in my heart. Wouldn’t hurt to be a child-at-heart from time to time, right? We all need a break during challenging times like this.

Anyway, this week’s featured item is a character from Star Wars: The Mandalorian from Disney+. Since I’m always drawn to alien-looking creatures, I made sure to get both a 3.75″ and 10″ The Child a.k.a. Baby Yoda Funko Pop when it was first released for pre-order in December 2019. It takes some time for the items to reach Philippine shores so I only got my hands on ’em a few weeks ago.

Here’s a quick look at the Pops and the differences between the two, aside from the size and number on the box:

In case you missed it, I also shared a solo unboxing video of the regular-sized Baby Yoda before this:

So to sum it up, the 10″ Funko Pop looks way better but the price is also so far from the regular-sized one. The 10″ version costs Php 2,500 while the 3.75″ version costs Php 585 only via pre-order at Bully Boy Collectibles on Facebook. They have the same pose, same bobble heads, same color, but different text plates, inner robe color, and the 10″ version seems more life-like.

These items are quite pricey, but believe me, there are A LOT of other characters out there with prices that have skyrocketed over time. I’m new to the Funko Pop community but I have no regrets! Better to join late than never. 😉
