NASA Hubble Space Telescope reveals how the cosmos looked like on your birthday

While stuck on quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we can’t help but look for an escape – may it be through throwback videos or travel destinations that we’ve been longing for. However, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is taking us light-years farther by giving us a peek at how part of the cosmos looked like during our birthday (month and date only, though) through the Hubble Space Telescope.

According to NASA’s website, the Hubble Space Telescope explores the universe 24/7 and it has been in orbit so for 30 years now! In fact, it’s celebrating its 30th anniversary this year so NASA is giving us a peek at some of the wonderful images that the telescope sent back to earth. Aside from the image, we can also find a short description about what we’re looking at. In my case, it’s a collision between two galaxies!

Here’s how you can check your Hubble Birthday Image:

1.Go to NASA’s website here.

2. Enter your birth month and day.

3. Wait for the widget to load and reveal the image and description.

4. Share the image (if you want) on your social media pages with the hashtag #Hubble30 and let’s celebrate the Hubble Space Telescope’s 30th anniversary together!
