More Star Wars merch are ready for take-off to a store near you!
In case you missed it, Star Wars and TOMS introduced a limited-edition collection a few months before the much-anticipated release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker this year. Officially launched in September, the first collection features TOMS’ classic pairs with custom storyboard-inspired prints from the original Star Wars trilogy. This December, a second wave has been released, offering detail-rich and comfort-driven style for men, women, and kids while giving homage to iconic Star Wars characters such as Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and even Master Yoda!
If you feel like the force is calling you, heed its call and keep on reading because we have all the details you need to be a few steps closer. The force bears much responsibility, of course! Most of the pairs may be hard to maintain, given their colors, but keeping it in ship-shape is very much worth it.
THE FIRST WAVE
First seen in stores in September, the first wave seemed like pages straight out of a comic book with All Terrain Walkers printed all over TOMS slip-ons. Available in black and white and in pairs for men, women, and kids, the slip-ons were a clear winner in the first release. Both colors cost P4,398 for men and women, while kids’ sizes are available for only P2,498.
THE SECOND WAVE
On the other hand, the second Star Wars x TOMS collection from this month offers everything from sleek high-top sneakers inspired by Luke Skywalker’s™ Rebel pilot helmet and Princess Leia’s™ Echo Base snowsuit to kid-friendly slip-ons that pay homage to Yoda™ and R2-D2™. Features include printed footbeds highlighting scenes from the films, woven character sketches, custom embossing, and subtle design nods to each character.
