May you be a kid or a kid-at-heart, I’m sure Nickelodeon’s slime-tastic shows has been a memorable part of your childhood. When I was young, I used to watch Nick stars get showered with slime from a random blimp or a trap door somewhere on the stage, slightly wishing that I was also there to feel how it’s like to be in all that gooey-yet-fun situation! For everyone like me who are still wondering ’til now, our time has come to experience the fun activities first-hand at Asia’s first ever Nickelodeon SlimeFest in the Philippines!
In collaboration with Globe Telecom, the ultimate slime-filled, multiplatform music and entertainment event for kids (and families) will be held on September 28, 2019 at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Get your festival mode on with performances by top regional and local music artists, immersive one-of-a-kind experiences, Nickelodeon stars and characters, and plenty of the brand’s signature green slime!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect to see Thai-German singer, songwriter and actress Jannine Weigel perform her unique brand of catchy pop tunes at the event; joined by singer and star of Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans Kira Kosarin, who will also be hosting the show. Other guests are yet to be revelead.
In addition to live music, SlimeFest will feature a non-ticketed festival area that will showcase one-of-a-kind experiences that may or may not involve a lot of slime, meet our favorite Nickelodeon characters, and more surprises.
WHERE TO GET TICKETS
Tickets will go on sale on SM Tickets from August 15, but Globe customers can get first dibs at the Globe Exclusive Pre-Sale today (August 14). Globe subscribers just need to visit the SM Tickets outlet at the SM Mall of Asia and show their Globe mobile signal or their Globe At Home app at the ticket counter. Each customer can purchase up to six (6) SlimeFest tickets during the pre-sale.
Slime Pit tickets cost P1,500 while General Admission passes cost P800. There’s an adult section, just in case you’re wondering!

Fun fact: SlimeFest has seen success around the globe as a multiplatform music and entertainment event since its overseas inception in 2012 in Australia. The Filipino music festival will mark the seventh local adaptation of this popular event and nearly 162,000 people have attended Nickelodeon SlimeFest events around the world to date, including sold-out shows in South Africa, Australia, Germany, Italy, UK and Spain.
