Creating the ‘REDy To Sparkle’ makeup look ft. Althea Makeup Box, Sunrise & Moonrise Palette

It’s way past Valentine’s Day, but since our February has been dominated by red hues, we opted to put the spotlight on this color of the month for our makeup look called “REDy To Sparkle”. Using the Althea Makeup Box, here’s how we turned an ordinary look to a sparkling mix of fun and sweet vibes:

1.Conceal and contour

After applying primer and light base foundation, I used Althea’s Flawless Creamy Concealer in Vanilla to lighten areas like my undereye, nose bridge, and part of my forehead. To create a slimmer illusion, I applied a darker shade – Creamy Concealer in Mocha, below the cheekbones, jawline, and nose line. Feel free to choose a concealer combination that will complement your skin tone. Flawless Creamy Concealer is also available in Honey and Ginger shades. Blend well!

2.Work on your eyeshadow

While waiting for the base to set, grab your BCL x Althea Sunrise & Moonrise Eye Palette. Start off by applying the lightest shade (#1) on your eye lid. Apply #6 from the center to the corner of your eyes and top it off by putting #8 at the crease. Blend the shades well before finishing with a touch of gold (#4) at the center.

3. Apply eyeliner and eye glitter

To make your eyes pop, put on a cat eye and add a sparkly line on top by using the Althea Spotlight Eye Glitter. Keep the line thin, following the stroke of your eyeliner. I used Gold Light, but you can also apply Pink Light. Mascara and even false eyelashes can also help!

4. Powder and contour

Apply setting powder and contour your face if you want. You can also add a bit of natural-looking blush by using the Althea Watercolor Cream Tint. I used Marron Cream for my cheeks! There are 3 other shades to choose from – Plum Cream, Strawberry Cream, and Peach Cream.

5. Make those lips standout

Apply the same Althea Watercolor Cream Tint on your lips to complete the look. If the color looks too bright for you, you can also gently press a facial tissue on  your lips to minimize the shine.

That’s it! I didn’t do anything to my brows because it already has a semi-permanent tint (thanks to microblading!), but don’t forget to include this in the steps.
