“Mundo ko’y baliktarin, babalik-balik ka rin. Lamunin man ng alon, handa akong la-la-la-languyin, la-la-la-languyin,” says a line in Autotelic’s hit song Languyin and we’re so damn sure that we’ll cross oceans just to see them perform live again. Good news for all their fans, though! No need to travel great lengths just to see your favorite band.
Millennial-favorite alternative rock band Autotelic will be playing their string of hits for mall guests at the 2nd level of Shangri-La Plaza’s Grand Atrium on January 12 at 7:00 PM. This one’s located at Shaw Boulevard in Ortigas Center.
Known for their shimmering, synth-laden sound in songs like Laro, Languyin, and Gising, this 6-piece band – composed of Josh Villena (guitars and vocals), Kai Honasan (keyboards and vocals), Neil Tin (guitars), EJ Edralin (synth), Pabs Vargas (bass guitars), and Gep Macadaeg (drums) – is surely a thrill to watch live.
While waiting, why not add their songs to your playlist? Here’s one you can save on your phone:
Will we be seeing you there? Let us know by getting in touch via Manila Millennial’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram page. Watch out for updates as we’ll be joining in the fun as well. See you!
