It’s official! Decathlon Philippines recently opened its newest “Phygital” (physical and digital) 1500-square-meter store at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. This fifth branch houses products for over 70 kinds of sports, but they can also deliver items that you found via their online page — no matter what branch you’re referring to! Cool, right? We were so stoked to find a sports store that has everything — from hula hoops down to professional gym equipment, so here’s a look at some of the interesting finds inside:

ATHLEISURE
The sports retailer offers 5000 high-quality sports products for all ages, high-tech check-out counters, a digital foot scanner for sanitary measurements, unbeatable customer service which I was able to experience first-hand, and competitive return and exchange policies.
Powered by its purpose to sustainably make sports accessible to many, Decathlon first opened in the Philippines through its flagship store located in Festival Mall, Alabang and online via decathlon.ph in 2017. Their Pasig branch followed in 2018, while a standalone store was inaugurated in 2019. Despite the pandemic, Decathlon answered the sudden need for home gym equipment to keep people busy and active while staying safe indoors. Thus, the opening of their concept store in SM North EDSA and SM Mall of Asia this December.
“We want Decathlon to be the favorite sports brand of FIlipinos,” says Hans Iff, CEO of Decathlon Philippines. “Thanks to the innovation and unbeatable value of our in-house brands, we can deliver top quality products to guarantee customer satisfaction.”
Decathlon shoppers can also enjoy free membership, next-day delivery, and click-and-collect features that will be available soon, thanks to the integration of the store to Decathlon’s website.
Aside from their passion to keep Filipino’s love for sports alive, Decathlon is also doing their part to create a more sustainable future. They are offering eco-designed sports products, items that are produced through environment-friendly means, and “Second Life” items which refers to pre-loved products that are still in baseline working condition. More sustainable solutions are also on the way according to Decathlon representatives during their grand opening at the SM Mall of Asia last Saturday (December 18, 2021).
Decathlon Pasay is located at Level 2, Entertainment Mall, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. Doors are open from 11AM-10PM on weekdays and 10AM-10PM on weekends. You can also check their online catalogue before dropping by the physical store.
