Before anything else, let me explain what a multi-function rice cooker does. Unlike ordinary rice cookers, this modern cookware appliance can do multiple things in just a tap of a button. The Elayks 2.5L Household Rice Cooker can help you prepare soup/broth, bake a cake, make baby porridge or yogurt, and keep your rice warm. You can also set a timer to delay it from starting.

The product comes with a couple of items inside – an extra layer with holes that you can use when steaming dumplings or other food, a free rice ladle/scooper, an electric wire for 220V, an easy-to-understand instruction guide, and an inner pot.

I’ve already tried the Elayks Multi-function Rice Cooker that I got from Shopee in cooking rice and so far, I’m loving it! Although it can be considered as a mini rice cooker, it’s spacious enough to make rice for 3-4 servings. The inner pot has a non-stick coating and it doesn’t produce crispy or burnt rice (a.k.a. tutong). It only weighs 2.3kg since it’s made out of plastic, but it doesn’t seem fragile.
