As Pride Month opens this June, a renowned Filipino designer will also be celebrating his own interpretation of Pride on the runway. With eleganza extravaganza (a term referring to a category that exudes pure elegance) and all types of creations that can make you exude with such feeling, PRIDE: The Don Cristobal Runway Show 8 is set to capture our hearts on June 8, 2019 at the Grand Ballroom of Crowne Manila Plaza Galleria.
Designer and entrepreneur Don Cristobal dedicates his show’s eight year to the creative forces and visionaries of Philippine fashion as well as Filipino achievers and exemplary individuals who became paragons of success and inspiration for the benefit of LoveYourself, Inc.’s HIV awareness activities and projects.
Get ready to feast your eyes on the new Dalagand Pilipina: A Millennial Pinay Collection, which are modern versions of our Filipiniana dresses in unconventional fabrics; DC Bayongs, Filipino bayongs with a modern flare; thematic collections for Love Yourself, and even pet fashion from Shopawholique. Other designers to watch out for include Roberth Gallardo, Karu Villanueva, Migeul David, Red Zurbano, Lau Fernandez, Adrian Stephen Cabuhat, Anna Salovino, Cathy Mora Capistrano, Maricris Dela Pena, Frederick Berches, and Jojo Bragais.
Miss Universe Catriona Gray’s iconic LuzViMinda costume, a tribute to the Philippines’ three major island groups, will also be on display from 5-10PM at the lobby of the Grand Ballroom. Guests will have the chance to see the giant parol from Luzon, the patterned bodysuit that represents Visayas, and the beaded accessories proudly made from Mindanao exclusively on that day.
The show will be directed by Jed Velasco and hosted by Ms. Earth Philippines 2013 Angelee Delos Reyes.
Show starts at 7 PM! We hope to see you there! For ticket reservations, you may send a message through this link.
