SNEAK PEEK: New Stranger Things 3 production stills, trailer, release date

One summer can change everything. This summer, our lives are set to change with more reasons to binge-watch on Netflix because a new season of Stranger Things is set to be released this year! Last Wednesday night (March 20, 2019), a 3-minute trailer of the third season was dropped, sending fans of the much-anticipated American science fiction horror series to look for more Easter Eggs online. Well, we have some treats for you! Check out the newly released trailer and exclusive production stills that we got from our dear friends from Netflix Philippines below:

Stranger Things became a huge hit on Netflix in 2016, bringing back the interest on vintage radio, bicycles and even Eggo waffles. It stars our favorite rising stars Millie Bobby Brown (who plays Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Noah Schnapp (Will), and now, Sadie Sink (Max). These kids are joined by well-known actors like Joe Keery (Steve), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Natalia Dyer (Nancy); and legends like Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers) and David Harbour (Chief Jim Hopper). We can spot new actors in the third season’s trailer, though!

As of now, no official plot summary is available on Netflix, but we can already see a lot of theories and Easter Eggs online – like how the last episode is called The Battle of Starcourt, hinting at yet another face-off with a new type of monster from The Upside Down. We’re assuming that there are 8 episodes in the upcoming season (episode titles: Suzie, Do You Copy?; The Mall Rats (remember those rat-like demogorgons?), The Case of the Missing Lifeguard, The Sauna Test, The Source, The Birthday, The Bite, and The Battle of Starcourt).

Expect each episode to take more or less 50 minutes, similar to the first two seasons! That’s all we can share as of now, but enjoy staring at these production stills while waiting for July to come.
